Don't be fooled by the "old school" vibe of this place. If you want traditional, head over to a place like White House Subs. But if you want some creative takes on Philly-style subs and pizza, with high quality ingredients, then Tony Baloney should be on your list.

Food is really good. Different from the standard. They add very good ingredients to familiar staples like cheesesteaks, pizza, fries, wings. I highly recommend this place mainly for takeout or very informal dine-in. Staff were friendly. It is on the north end of the city near Ocean casino past where the tram car on the boardwalk runs but not far. So you could get the tram on the boardwalk and get off at Ocean casino and walk 3 or so blocks to the shop. There is plenty of parking as it is flanked by open lots. It's not the most friendly looking area of the city but you don't go there for the view. We had the buffalo and lemon pepper (Southern) wings, fries and some kind of LPP chicken sub. My daughter loved her sub and fries. The house buffalo wings were fantastic. Wings are on the large side with lots of meat. I have to say my Southern wings dit not meet my idea of what lemon pepper should taste like. I'm more used to a wing stop kind of flavor.

While staying in the area I drove to this pizza/sub joint one evening for dinner. I wouldn't walk here tho! Driving wasn't bad, plenty of street parking. It's worn down and dingy inside, but the service is friendly and the food in the case looks amazing. They make fresh pizzas which they display and sell by the slice. They have a large menu with some tasty-looking subs and pizzas and if you want a pizza that's not in the case, you need to buy the while pie. I tried a slice of cheese and their Brotherly Love sub. The pizza was excellent! Crust was great, cheese to sauce to crust ratio was perfect... Flavor was great also! Their Brotherly Love sub was nice! Spicy too!! It had a whole, spicy long green pepper on it, along with what tasted like Calabrian chili paste on it, smeared inside the sub roll. The meat was excellent and tho I hate wiz, this homemade white wiz they have was incredible! Overall - I really enjoyed the food. The service was friendly too. Definitely would return!

1st time here & wow. The steak sandwiches are not for the faint of heart. Brotherly love was full of spicy peppers & delicious. The star was the homemade white cheddar whiz. Grateful that they are not stingy with the cheese! I didn't notice until afterwards they offer gluten free bread. Will definitely be back for that. But I love the veggie & vegan options & I have to try their homemade mozzarella. There's too many reasons to return! Finally- the service was top notch, very friendly & went above & beyond to remake a sandwich (& I tried to stop them! lol) but they insisted on getting it right & I insist on giving them repeat business. Go to there!!

Stopped in again while in town. Grabbed a CBR ON ROIDS. Chicken Bacon Ranch slice, and it was real good. Definitely recommend. Just not sure how it's $6.50 for a slice in the absolute hood of Atlantic City, haha. No slice of pizza anywhere costs that much. Good food tho for sure, prices are a bit wild tho.

Yes. Pizza is so good here is what we got: -Plain Cheese Pizza - I am pretty sure you cannot go wrong. -Fuckin Gindolune - I basically would never order a cheese pizza and just eat this one. -S#itfaced Chicken - it was good, but I would go back to the Gindolune in a heart beat. Subs: -Punjabo parm- it's spicy but tasty. Again spicy. -We had this other sub - it was broccoli and chicken and cheese (a couple of cheeses) - it was so so good. It's seasonal I think - and I can't write what the name is because of that. Service on point - they got our order right away and filled it. Ambiance -- well I would take out. The overall place is not a lot. and there literally is nothing around this joint. Overall: food is awesome, do take out.

They have a lot of seasonal items and the service here usually is upbeat and friendly. Casual spot for unique sandwiches and pizzas. I always come up to AC and get a kick out of reading the menu here. So my all time fav is called the Lobsta Trap. It's basically a big warm cheesy lobster roll.everytime I come to AC I must have one of these bad boys :) This time around it wasn't as great as it usually is, but maybe an off day. Still love this place and respect them immensely for being uniquely them and very creative. Give these guys a shot
